The ScrapRoom MOD Squad Blog Hop!

Welcome to our Mod Squad Blog Hop! I'm excited to be a part of this wonderful, group of talented ladies who will bring you lots of inspiration and challenges over the coming months.

I've been subbing to The ScrapRoom Kits  for several years and love the variety of new products each and every month! I hope you'll take a close look at the wonderful kits that are available this month! They are all amazing!

I've been scrapping for over 10 years and first started when we were expecting our first granddaughter. Thought it would be wonderful to preserve the memories along with the photos for her.

Here's a card I made with the September Fancy Pants Kit which features the 'My Family' line.

I was inspired by the August 14th sketch by Cherie Averill over at Sassy Lil' Sketches.

Come join us at The ScrapRoom for lots of fun and inspiration this month along with new challenges!

Now, go check out fellow scrapper, Gab's Blog, A Happy Life.  I'm sure you'll find more inspiration there!

Thanks for joining in on our first Blog Hop!

Just Like the Big Kids!

Photos of my youngest granddaugher Lucy who loves trying out the things the bigger kids are doing although she has her own little toddler swing. Such a little sweetheart!
This is based on the September 28th sketch over at Sassy Lil' Sketches , which is also shown below.  I used some wonderful Sassafras Lass 'Indie Girl' papers and chip flowers from a September Kit at The ScrapRoom.

Sassy Lil' Sketches September 7th REVEAL!

Check out this cool new sketch by Cherie at Sassy Lil' Sketches  and all the different takes by the DT. This was a great one to work with all the spaces for photos or you could substitute some patterned paper or accents for some of the squares.

"Winter Wonderland"
Here's my take on the sketch using some wonderful snowy photos from a huge snowfall, Feb. 2010. Used some pretty October Afternoon 'Good Cheer' papers here.

We have two generous sponsors for September. Remember to be eligible for the September prizes your layout needs to be uploaded via Mr. Linky at Sassy Lil' Sketches by October 5th at 11:59 PM EST.

Our paper prize is a Cricut cartridge from Memory Miser.

The ScrapRoom MOD Squad!

I'm so happy to share this exciting news with you! The MOD Squad was just announced over at The ScrapRoom. WAHOO! I made it! I'll get to be apart of the moderating team for the first quarter from October through December 2010. YAY! Tammy decided to have rotating teams for each quarter, which sounds like a great idea! With that comes some perks in terms of kits so I'm really excited about that.

Ticket To Ride!

These are photos of sweet grandson Marcus riding some fun carnival rides from July '09.
This is based on the August 28th Sassy Lil' Sketch. Still working with those adorable fun Echo Park goodies and just bought this cute little Martha Stewart Train Border Punch. Had resisted getting that for so long, until I found it at TJ Maxx for only $3.99. LOVE my border punches!
